homework place?

by admin on July 28, 2010

left handed individuals are more likely to have accidents at work than are right handed individuals, in fact 25% more likely. If they are working with tools and machinery, 51% more likely.
Accommodations such as being able to rearrange the work area and having tools available that are either left or right hand adapted would make the workplace a safer place to be.

Can you suggest ways that the work place could be made safer? Or, what could be done in the classroom that would make it easier for students who are left handed to take notes or tests? What about working on computers? The mouse is actually made for people who are right handed. How adaptable must a left handed person become in order not to be frustrated by using a right handed mouse?

interesting. never though of this. I know many people who r left handed since school. But they never had any trouble writing or anything. In school they should start developing things for left handed people.

Has there been a complaint from a left handed person. I think if there is then we have a problem. SO maybe start making computers where the mouse can be placed left

I am left handed and I live in a totally right handed world.

Therefore I only use my left and to write and have adapted to do everything else with my right hand.

I do not use adapted scissors or anything for ‘left’ handed people and I have never had a difficulty or issue with being left handed!
If you adapted anything for me I would be angry! I am not disabled!
